“My Second Carrier Bilby MT!”
This is the second KMB buckle tai I’ve owned. In the picture I’m 20 weeks pregnant and carrying a 10.5kg toddler.
The workmanship and quality of the carrier is fantastic. The design is just right; the body is a great size for older babies or toddlers and the straps are the perfect length for every tie and finish. The buckle waist makes it quicker for getting the carrier on and off and makes for the right fit every time.
There is comfort for both the wearer and the wearee. The padding the straps is not too bulky or thin. The sweatshirt style hood is better than a standard hood for a wriggly child and is easy to put up whilst the carrier is in use.
This carrier is adaptable to our family situation (older baby, toddler and now pregnant with a toddler phase) and is certainly worth the investment.

“My Surprise Carrier Bilby MT!”
I have a KarriMeBub half buckle that was made in April ‘09 by the wonderful Karen.
The carrier is basically a plain dark brown one, with an awesome, groovy double sided cover. This cover is reversible and so cool, I love how I can turn it over for a different look.
It’s easy to take off and turn over.
The carrier itself is very comfy and so well made, with beautiful straight stitching on the straps, to hold the padding in place, etc.
The padding is just right, not too thick and not too thin, as I can still wear my now almost 15kg little boy in it!
The waist is great, also has the right amount of padding and the buckles are of good quality and easy to use.
The sweatshirt style hood is fabulous! Very well made and just the right size.
The carrier is comfy on my back. I must admit I haven’t tried it in a front carry, as my son is getting too big for that.
I’m very pleased with this great carrier, thanks Karen!

“My Carrier Bilby MT!”
Ok – this one is hard because it’s my bilby gift. I have talked to my super nice bilby (That was me) and she is ok with me selling.
This is part of the review I did for Karen to give you an idea about some of the features.
I l..o..v..e..d the hood. It was easy to get a hold of the hood straps and they could be tidied up with the snaps whilst not in use. The padded shoulder straps are just the right width and deliciously cushy on the shoulders. The padding goes a fair way down the straps so they would also be great on a taller person too. The body is supportive, of a decent size without being bulky or hot. The padded waist is comfortable and passes the long walk test. I liked that the ends of the waist webbing are held against the band nice and neatly. This carrier is made with high quality baby/mum friendly fabrics and workmanship. The waist band pocket was good for holding BCD cards and the larger pocket is good for holding a purse or keys. It has a cinching mechanism in the body too. Just beautiful.
If it had the darker straps this beauty wouldn’t be going anywhere

“A great help” – KarriMeBub 1/2 Buckle Tai
Purchased a KarriMeBub 1/2 Buckle Tai from a good friend who sewed it herself (so clever). I love the combination of tie shoulder straps and buckle waist straps as the tie shoulder provides me with flexibility should I want to carry baby higher an closer to me, or lower when I want to nurse her or allow her to peep out and see the world. The buckle waist makes it so much easier to wear the carrier – one simple click and you are ready to go. Oh and may I mention that the roomy hood it has to keep out the lights and noise when baby is asleep in it. It has been such a great help especially when I need both my hands to work around the house. Baby Kate usually falls asleep within minutes once she is in it and she can sleep for hours in it if I am out walking. I love it when people comment on how useful and clever and nice it is when I carry baby in it … baby is soo comfy and snug in it. I recently acquired a reversible cover for the tai to achieve different looks for different functions. This carrier boasts good workmanship with lots of reinforcement in heavy duty areas such as the shoulder straps – that is important as baby needs to be secure. The paddings are of the right thickness which makes it very comfortable to use. Finally, the end product was delivered in a very timely manner.
The KarriMeBub 1/2 Buckle Tai, an excellent buy!

Purchased Karrimebub ½ Buckle Tai from Karen Ma (the Queen of baby slings). I love the option of having your own fabric selection to cater for your own individuality and taste. This product enables me to have a close body contact with baby Jordan as opposed to the bulky commercial carriers that are too heavily padded. The closeness also invoke a sense of security in baby from the audibility of mummy’s heartbeat. I love the hood as it blocks out the light especially when baby is trying to fall asleep. It also blocks out the wind in the cold winter months. This product is very useful when you are making a quick dash to shops without having to manoeuvre the baby pram along the narrow aisle and check out counters at the grocery stalls. The built in pockets could also fit a couple of nappies and baby wipes when you need to free your hands from the nappy bag. A very clever design a must have! Well done Karen!
